Text Box: As you all know race weekend is right around the corner and if anyone you know is looking for something to do that Saturday or Sunday or both days there are plenty of openings this year where help is needed. My next obstacle is getting the hay moved from the barn ( near the High School ) up to the fairgrounds. For now I planned on doing that Sunday, January 6th. For anyone that I didn't call and wants to help, we're meeting at the building and convoying the wagons at 9:00 am. Unfortunately, by the way the weather looks rain gear maybe in order.
Just a quick reminder about the club trip, only two rooms left and anyone interested in going up Thursday I would need to know that as the rooms are only Text Box: reserved for Friday night and Saturday night. I look forward to seeing everybody in the hospitality room.
For once we had a white Christmas and were able to do some snowmobiling both before and after. I hope everyone enjoyed the trails as much as we did. Our trails were as good as any other clubs, if not better. Thanks goes out to all that helped with keeping the groomers running and the trails groomed. WELL DONE!
If anyone is looking Text Box: for a place to go Friday night January 11th, Chris Hackl of Millennium Technologies is having a brat fry and open house for everyone to see how their machining process works. I for one believe this would be very interesting. Chris has been and I hope continues to be a strong supporter of not only our club but the snowmobile racing industry.
Hope to see you at the next club meeting January 10th, 7:30 at Ranger Park. Tim McMullen

You will have to be at the races on Saturday night to be eligible to win. We will draw for the chance to win some time around 6:00 pm. You will have to register at the buzz tent before the drawing. There will be only 149 people eligible to win the sled and all workers will have to be present.
The Northern Kettles Snowmobile Association has finally have made a volunteer effort to step forward to open and close the trails and update the hotline. This is a real plus! Someone beside the Plymouth club is making the decision to do this job from now on. I will still update the NKM website and will train the new people on how to do the website in my absence.
Text Box: It’s been a long time since I remember riding our trails between Christmas & New Years. I think I might have been driving a 1978 Everest! That dates that ride about 26 or 28 years ago!
Trails have been open for several weeks and the trails grooming has been going very well. The rec trail has had very heavy traffic, as many as 100 sleds an hour at times. Both of our groomers have been on the trails so trails are looking very good.
Race preparations are under way for the 30th race of champions. Tim and the track crew have been doing a great job of getting the tracks in shape for the race. We’ve had a good year as far as weather Text Box: We had a phone outage on the hotline just when we wanted to open the trails after the last snow storm. That was a Verizon problem and has nothing to do with the Plymouth Snow Rangers. We had a Verizon service man at the building on Friday morning to fix to DSL line. I called it in and they restored it by noon on Saturday.
If you don’t have a job at the race please call me or some other race chairman because we never have to much help. Dan
