The Optional Driving portion of the Snowmobile Safety Course is held at Ranger Park, the Plymouth Snow Ranger’s Club House and storage building which is located just northeast of the County Wayside on Cty. “C”, just east of the intersection of Hwy. "57" and Cty. "C." east of Fleet Farm. map here The date of the test is unknown at the time, as it is dependent on snow conditions. The students will be called on a Wednesday or Thursday evening prior to the selected date of the driving test.

If possible we would like you to bring along a snowmobile that the student will be driving in the future. The snowmobile must have a current valid registration. If it is not possible for you to bring a snowmobile, the Snow Ranger’s will provide one to use for the test. Remember, because the students have not received their certificates as of yet, they may not drive the snowmobile to the test site by themselves

All students must be accompanied by an adult for the driving test. Please dress warm and have the student dressed warm. Wear boots, you will be standing in snow. We require all students to wear a helmet. If you do not have a helmet, or access to one, the Snow Rangers will provide one for the test

The testing period will be spread out through the morning and early afternoon to get everyone in and out in an orderly manner. Typical time for the test should be no more than 25 minutes. We are requesting you and the student to be at the Plymouth Snow Rangers site at the time that will be assigned to them. If you cannot make this time, but are able to appear during the test time we will try to slot you in. If you have a special problem with this date, please contact one of our instructors. You can park in the wayside or on the Snow Ranger grounds. Registration is in the far right hand door.

Driving Test time period is on a Saturday morning between 9:00 am and 1:30pm
